Introduction
trker-icon is an open-source icon library built for the modern web. Use it as a webfont via CSS classes, embed raw SVGs inline, or build a custom subset with only the icons you need.
What is trker-icon?
trker-icon provides hundreds of carefully crafted icons in both outline and filled styles. Every icon is available as:
- A CSS webfont class — drop an
<i>tag anywhere - An inline SVG — copy the raw SVG from the icon browser
- A custom pack — compile only the icons you use into a minimal CSS file
Quick Start
The fastest way to get started is via CDN. Add one line to your <head> and you're done:
No build step required
The CDN method works in any HTML file — no npm, no bundler, no config.
<!-- Add to <head> -->
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/trker-icon@latest/dist/trker-icon.css">
<!-- Use anywhere in <body> -->
<i class="trker trker-home"></i>
How it works
trker-icon uses a CSS webfont under the hood. The base trker class sets the font-family and rendering properties. Each icon class (e.g. trker-home) maps to a Unicode character in the font file via a ::before pseudo-element.
This means icons scale perfectly with font-size, inherit color, and work everywhere CSS does — no JavaScript required.
Custom Packs
Instead of loading the full icon set, you can build a custom pack containing only the icons your project uses. The pack builder lets you:
- Pick individual icons from the browser
- Choose which CSS modules to include (sizing, animations, rotate, etc.)
- Compile and download a minimal ZIP with CSS + SVG files
- Host via CDN link (Premium)
